At The Lindens, we’ve been busy making the most of the wonderful autumn days, creating special memories with our residents each week with our Thursday Trips!
Here’s a look back at some of our recent adventures…
Douglas’s Birthday Celebration at Bletchley Park 🎂
Douglas celebrated his birthday at Bletchley Park. Known for its historic role in World War II codebreaking, Bletchley Park was a fascinating experience. Douglas was captivated by the history and enjoyed learning about the important work that took place there.
Ladies’ Trip to Dobbies Garden Centre 🌸
A group of our ladies had a wonderful outing to Dobbies Garden Centre. While there, they spent time exploring the fish tanks and admiring the vibrant aquatic life. Afterward, the group relaxed in the cosy café, enjoying tea, cake, and lots of laughter. It was a peaceful and fun day out, full of smiles and great conversation.
Roman Way Garden Centre & a Furry Friend 🐱
Another group of ladies ventured out to Roman Way Garden Centre, where we had a pleasant surprise - a friendly resident cat, Larry! The ladies were thrilled to meet him as they wandered through the garden displays, enjoying the plants and flower displays. The outing was capped off with a relaxing lunch at the café, a delightful day for all.
Thrift Farm Animal Adventures🐑
A couple of us had a fantastic time on a trip to Thrift Farm. We met and fed the animals, including sheep, goats, and other friendly farm residents. It was a wonderful, interactive day and both our residents loved spending time with the animals.
Our aim is always to create meaningful experiences for our residents and these outings are one of the ways we achieve that. Whether it’s exploring new places or simply enjoying a cup of tea together, our Thursday Trips are always memorable and meaningful.
We look forward to future adventures and sharing more moments with you soon.
